COMPANY BACKGROUND

THE GRASS ROOTS

Fit Force Nutrition has been a long time coming. I truly have a passion for wanting to help people fuel the force within them. My passion for fitness and nutrition started in high school when I was training for soccer, running fitness classes, and coaching soccer on the side. I so loved going to the gym and the field every day, giving it all for myself and my teammates. The satisfaction from giving everything you’ve got and seeing the rewards from that is priceless. Those feelings carried with me into college where I played soccer and started studying health science. Personally, I know what it’s like to fuel my body for incredibly demanding, high levels of training. I lived it for 6 years: 4 years of D1 college soccer and 2 years of semi-pro soccer while I studied for my Masters. After all that was said and done, I realized that the working world, especially working in collegiate athletics, was a lot different from the comfort zone of the “student athlete” world I lived in.

Early mornings, busy schedules, time demands, little sleep, deadlines, you name it. It hit like a brick wall and my comfort zone was shaken. I started gaining weight that had never been there before. I no longer felt good, had the energy like I used to, or had the desire to train like I had loved to for so long. Big, big, BIG problem.

It was time to make a change and when I started taking my own advice, using the small, simple practical strategies every single day I saw a transformation.

My mood and motivation became positive and training was FUN again. I actually wanted to cook and use whole foods instead of relying on the traditional easy grab and gos. It felt like a weight lifted and a light shining through the clouds. Since then, I’ve helped many people find the force within them to fuel their fitness goals too.

That was the whole idea behind Fit Force Nutrition- to live your optimal live and realize your full potential. My passion lies in the sports and performance world, but your force can be found in ANY capacity. It’s finding what fuels your fire, sparks your motivation, and makes sustainable change for the future. My definition of healthy is fueling your body to be able to do what you what, when you want to, while freeing yourself or managing disease states. Food is AMAZING and so are you. I can’t wait to see where this adventure takes us!
